Journeys, adventures and a curiosity to explore have led to the inspiration and creation of Wesley's unique, and intriguing works of art that stand out due to their bold colors and optical trickery which constantly keep the viewer enticed. A sense of space deeper than the realistic volume of the sculpture, combined with the effects of lights create an ever-shifting persona.

Studying and working in the Czech Republic, the land of tradition with respect to glass, has led to this highly unique sculptural media being learned and enhanced. The layered technique known as Rouputine glass refers to the method of construction of these beautiful glass sculptures. Sandblasted reliefs, and detailed designs within play with the exterior and interior realm of the sculpture and create drama and stories that are individual to each piece, as each piece is in itself.
